We met John Edwards this weekend
Monday, July 23rd, 2007Sarah and I are supporting John Edwards for President. I believe he has proven himself to be the most progressive among the major candidates, and I particularly appreciate his detailed plan to extend health insurance to every American, his plan to end poverty in this country within 30 years, and his recent call for congress to repeatedly send the vetoed war funding bill (with a timeline for beginning withdrawal) back to the President again and again rather than cave, which someone somewhere decided was a better idea. If you care about these issues too, please consider joining our movement: John Edwards for President.
This weekend, the Sarah, the boys and I went to cheer on Senator Edwards’ arrival in Baton Rouge, his seventh visit to Louisiana this campaign. We were surprised when all of us who had showed up to demonstrate our support were invited to meet briefly with the Senator. How very cool!
